Age cutoffs for Tri-Town Jr. Baseball



8 - 10:
If a player reaches his/her 11th birthday prior to May 1 of that playing season, s/he is ineligible to play in the 8-10 division.

Each player must reach his/her 8th birthday prior to May 1 of that playing season. The player may be 7 years old at the time the season begins if one of the child’parents agrees to be a coach for the team. That parent must attend all games and practices at which that player participates. (This is to be policed by the team’s controlling organization.)
10 - 12:
If a player reaches his/her 13th birthday prior to May 1 of that playing season, s/he is ineligible to play in the 10-12 division.
12 - 14: *
If a player reaches his/her 15th birthday prior to May 1 of that playing season, s/he is ineligible to play in the 12-14 division.

 

* Special Note for the 12 - 14:

Ninth graders (and above) can play in the League if they are “age eligible”
and are not included on a High School baseball roster this year.
Such players are not allowed to pitch in this League.

Eighth graders and below who are “age eligible” and are included on a High School baseball roster this year are eligible to participate in the League.
